Well ive got a little extra tax money and the wife has given me the OK. I really want the soft doors cause i hate wheeling with them on, im always afraid im going to drag a rock over them plus i think it would be nice in the summer to just peel the doors off and go. BUT i could use this as an opportunity to get a winch. Like a Smitty with synth maybe? What would you guys do?

 

I love my soft doors so I vote for those. Make your buddy get a winch.

 

I'd say go with the winch. If u get in a shitty situation where u nned a pull and noone else to pull u, soft doors aint gonna get u out of the pickle. But, soft doors would be nice. Tough decision, but I vote for the winch and just take ur doors off.

who needs doors in the summer time anyway? i'de get a winch and maybe a winch bumper if $$ permits.

Go with the winch. It really makes the front end of your Jeep look sweet. That and its crazy useful when you or a buddy gets stuck. Doors cant pull you out of the mucky muck.
