really depends on your budget. Get an older pre-china made warn if you can find one used somewhere. If you have to get a new one, all the china made ones are as good as the next imho. just find one w/ a good warranty that will be easy to replace when it tears up.

Warn is made in china now? F that if they are. I won't buy one. I'm glad you choose the winch Im in the market for one as well. Soft doors are gay IMO.

Get the winch!

I've got a little experience here as I used to have a set. The only advantage to soft doors were the rears gave me a little sence of security with my kids riding in the back (I felt they wouldn't slide out going around a turn) and as you have a 2 dr I don't see you benefiting in that area.

You don't get really wet driving with no doors unless passing another vehicle, and they suck when they are on and you are going over 40 mph and they offer no real security or protection.

Two summers ago they sat in the back of my jeep in the event of a severe storm, last summer they sat in my garage because there just weren't that many nice weekends. When it was nice I just put my hard doors in the garage. Any long trips I went on with the family I had the doors and A/C on.

Just go doorless with a winch.

Just my 2c.

Winch - for sure.

Mine gets here tomorrow or Monday - I got a 12k for a GREAT price and the service and warranty are great.

soft doors are on my want list - a winch was on my need list.

Agree with most. Rolling without doors is easy and fun. If you need a winch you NEED A WINCH.
