New friends... or maybe that's just their excuse. Jk. Adjustable shocks, lower tire pressure X2. My wife complained, so I put in heated seats, now she loves it.

It comes down to how you feel driving it. Does it feel stable? Does the jeep wander? The control arms will help you if that's a concern. The shocks will help you tailor your ride to your friend's expectations, as well as your own.

I had assumed you were just keeping the lift you have and making your rig more "friend friendly". If you are changing other things, I'll need to go back and re-read the thread here.

What size lift do you have?

Shocks and control arms will not effect brake lines or drive shafts. Springs will!

I have a 2011 Rubi Unlimited, with a 2.5 lift, and my JK rides great. I have no issues with long trips in it.

You don't need control arms then. Just get shocks and it will improve along with 28-30 psi. I recommend the Old man emu nitros personally. That's all you need , nothing else with 2.5

I forgot to mention that the rancho adjustables have a $25/shock promo this weekend ($100 on a set of 4).

I was unable to find any reference to OME making a long-travel shock. All their shocks appear to just be a can nitrogen shock? Do they offer something different?
