well then, if you lift your jeep any more than a 2.5" BB, you will have issues with your front drive shaft making contact with your transmission. this is not that big of a deal but it will cause the spline shaft boot to tear off. to prevent this, you will need a new u-joint style drive shaft as it will be smaller in diameter.

And even at 2.5, it gets a little iffy. Atomicmecha ripped his boot on his Auto 4dr rubi w/ Tera's BB a few weeks ago. He really flexed it out last trip and just caught the edge of the tranny. He was running a deeply rutted trail that really stretched out his supension. He did wheel it alot before this happened though.

the determining factor for whether or not your driveshaft will make contact with the tranny is the amount of droop you have. if you have the tf 2.5" bb with shock extensions, you shouldn't have any problems. if you have new longer shocks, you probably will.

only if you installed a set of new and longer shocks. if you stick with the shock extensions, you will be fine

i probably wouldn't need new shocks because i won't be doing any extreme flexing for a while but does the kit you did a write up on come with the extensions?

Im 99% sure he has the extensions. I was suprised when he did it too, I think its the only one Ive ever heard of with the extensions ripping a boot. I saw his pics though and it seems like every 5 feet he was hanging a tire or two in the air.
