I have 35s with Auto and did not regear, but mine came stock with 4.10 gears. Lower (higher number) gears would be better but it is fine and live-able. IMO the cost of regearing is better used by putting that money towards tougher axles that can be ordered with different gear ratio.

What gears do you have now ?

So I've decided to go with 35s, like was suggested I figured it'd be a good starting point and probably wont be doing things that would require 37s.

I'll give the teraflex kits a look and pick one out and give it a go. Is 17" x 9" a good wheel size to go with? Looking at the ProComp Series 8069s. Here's the link

Look like a good wheel? Or would steel wheels be a better choice?

And is anyone running KM2s that could tell me how they like them and any problems they've had? I've heard they're not too good in snow, then again im in SoCal and 4wheel in snow for only a few times out of the year so it probably doesn't matter as much haha.
