Find a manufacturer that has suspension components that are powder coated silver. Rubicon express is the only one I know of that does, and I have their stuff. I must in fact correct you, that IS a JAM nut. If you do not tighten it against the tube it WILL pull the threads out of the tube and the end will be left attached to the steering knuckle...the drag link that is attached to the pitman arm will be left floppin in the wind. Since the pitman arm is attached to the steering box that means you will have no control of your jeep, the tires will lock either full left or full right since the steering box isnt holding it, and depending on your speed it may cause a rollover. This actually happened to the lady that lives right across the street from me. Hers came out at 45 mph and she rolled it 3 times. She had a tj with a faulty draglink.

But hey, what do I know? i've only been wheeling for 16 years. Worked as a mechanic for 3, and do all my own suspension work.

It is not helpful to send erroneous information, as it will only confuse the new people who are here to learn things instead of paying a mechanic 100 dollars an hour.

Sorry about the rant, but when you are wrong just admit it.

Why would you get banned for saying what it is?

I don't want to get in a pissing contest with anyone but if you look at his 2nd pic you can see its gray not sliver and R.E. drag link is straight no bends in it. the one he has a a bend in it and the track bar bracket that is on his jeep is also made by the company I said. If I could read the part # on the spring I'd bet $$ that it matches up to their 3.5 lift or stage 2or3 but only O.P can say who is closer to being right.
