Default HELP..... Noise from front end

Ok I have an Auto 09 4 dr lifted 3" XHD front bumper 35" MTZ Mickey Thompson tires and rims, regeared to Yukon 5.13's etc

I'm getting this sound like a stone trapped in the tread of a tire( but no stone I checked) it sounds a little more tinny though. Sounds like it's coming from driver side front tire..... But then sometimes both sides.
Unbalanced tire? Though at high speeds no wobble....
Tire pressure at 32..... Uneven wear? Cupping? I rotate every oil change.... Tires only 6 mo old.
Bearings????
Something caught in my brakes??
Something more serious????

Sound seems consistent with wheels turning. The sound is still there even when shifted into neutral and engine turned off rolling at city speed limit.
ANYONE with ideas.... Thanks... Worried

Maybe coming from the CV joint

is it a knocking noise or more of metal on metal kind of noise? It very may well be your front DS from the lift if you're running stockers.

Thanks for the compliment.....
It's not really either of those sounds/noises
Almost like when a piece of thin metal is loose and vibrating....but it's coming from the front end as the wheels turn....

Check your front DS tomorrow, or it might be the front U joints? how many miles are on your 09? If it's only when the wheels are turning it's a good indication that the front U joint's on the axle may be worn out.

yup runs into the front ring and pinion (the big pumpkin looking thing on the front axle) shake it and see if there's noise, but from what you are describing I'm leaning more towards worn U joints in the axles, esp since you state that it's only when turning.
