If you use wheel spacers check them out, too. I had the same issue like you. Check my started thread 'broken spacer'.

If you are getting the click with each revolution of the tire then I'd check the U-joint at end of the axle shaft. Does the noise get louder it you turn the wheels? If so it almost always means a bad U-joint.

You can also remove your front wheels and rotate the hubs by hand and see if you feel a clicking. It is possible that a sound you think is coming from the wheel area is actually being transmitted down the axle shaft if something inside the diff is causing the problem.
That's funny I think when I go around a bend or curve on the street it may be more noticeable(the sound) maybe I'm just extra paranoid.
What's the cost to replace the U-joints? I'm assuming if that's the problem I need heavier duty ones..... any recommendations???

Default noise from fromt end

Check the inside bake vacuum plate. Mine was bent and was causing the same noise. The Stealership replace the wheel speed sensor and bent the bake vacuum plate which in turn rubbed against the brake rotor causing the same noise you are talking about. I hope this help you out.

Thanks a mechanic took it out for a quick spin to hear the sound he did mention it could be coming from the brakes.... I'm going back in there on Wed when he has time to look at it..... But I think he works on mostly rice burner's hope he knows a little about jeeps. My nearest jeep mechanic us almost an Hr away.... My favorite one is 90 minutes away.

I'm getting this sound like a stone trapped in the tread of a tire( but no stone I checked) it sounds a little more tinny though. Sounds like it's coming from driver side front tire..... But then sometimes both sides.
Unbalanced tire? Though at high speeds no wobble....
Tire pressure at 32..... Uneven wear? Cupping? I rotate every oil change.... Tires only 6 mo old.
Bearings????
Something caught in my brakes??
Something more serious????

Sound seems consistent with wheels turning. The sound is still there even when shifted into neutral and engine turned off rolling at city speed limit.
ANYONE with ideas.... Thanks... Worried
I crawled under my JK and remember I'm NO mechanic..... Everything seemed tight....

I did notice a couple things.... In the 1st 2 pics....., The bar above the diff cover with the two bolts on it seemed to be able to move/twist a bit ..... On each side of this bar a little rubber thingy seemed sealed.
The next 3 pics WONDERING if the angle looks ok and with the blue pen I NOTICED some grease above it on the silver material.... Is this normal??? Or is the grease splatter a bad sign??
Thx again
