Default HELP PJ 4dr rocker guard install

I am installing my rocker guards today, and having a lot of problems. When lining up the passenger side, the rocker guard needs to move forward to clear the door openings. Also, the bottom (underneath)rear bolts are causing both side to be to far back, and it looks like the doors might have a hard time closing.

BINGO! Didn't you work for that money? Don't accept an inferior made product. If you drill the holes out to line up, chances are whomever you bought them from will not take them back. I would send them back and make the company swap them out.

they look like they fit that way on the red one too....?

I looked at that, and mine actually cross the opening of the door.

I really liked these, and now I'm now sure what I am going to do. I am going to start with Quadratech because I purchased them there.

I just spoke with them. I need to follow up on Monday. I'm sure they are going to have to work things out with PJ. I'm actually in the credit card processing industry. I'd have no problem disputing the charge if they don't fix this. I hopefully won't have any of those problems. Also, if they think I am going to pay for any of this to be shipped, they're crazy. I just want to get this right, and get these mounted.

Get a hold of them with pictures so they can clearly see the issue. Then send them the back at their cost. I love my PJ bumpers but I had to modify the back pin assembly so that the pin would actually drop low enough to catch the holes in the bumper. Some meathead welded the assembly too high up on the shaft. I could have cut off and re-welded the entire assembly but the powdercoat would be fubar. So I had to take it apart and spend an hour slowly grinding down the stainless steel collar until the pin would fall low enough. I was a little choked about the whole situation, but got them for such a good deal couldn't complain much.

But something like rockers where you're making new holes in your vehicle, the things should fit PERFECTLY.

its the way your lining it up, keeping working with it. Use two jack stands, and keep the bottom bolts loose, Dont tighten them up or you wont get the rocker to move.

I helped install the ones one the red one. it lines up fine. They put these into a mold after being made to insure they line up properly.
