I managed to drop my ecig into the hole for the pairing brake on my 2013 jku. The battery is explosive so I can't really drive until I can get it out. I haven't been able to find anything telling me how to take the center console out. Any help will be much appreciated.

 

On a 13' the front console comes off pretty easy. Reach under the rim of the cup holders and give it a gentle yank up. The rear of the forward console will pop up. Then go to the front and pop those clips off. There are no fastners like bolts.

 

any chance those e cigs have enough magnetic metal in them to stick it with a magnet on a stick? you can find magnets on a stick in most parts stores, they were invented for when you drop things that are magnetic into really really stupid places. otherwise I am sure you can find info about taking the console out of your particular year and make, youtube has alot of videos of taking stuff apart.

 

Chances are it fell to the side. Try pulling carpet away from console and if you hear it hit metal just pry console up enough to get it out. I got a triple a flashlight out that way.

Ha... I've done that twice, managed to get both out with magnet stick.
I just went back to smoking the real thing......lol.....
