Default Help please

Hi everyone I am new to the forum and I just got a new Unlimited Rubicon. I just installed the Terflex 2.5 bb with shock extentions and 1.5 spider trax wheel spacers. After a couple of days of driving I noticed some oil splatter in the front driver side wheel well. I found it was coming from a hose that leads out of the front axle then runs up next to the shock absorber. Here are some pics:

Thanks in advanced for your help.

hey geekguy, welcome to jk-forum!!

regarding your post, is it safe to assume that you just serviced your differentials or installed new diff covers? what you are looking at is your axle breather hose and it is pumping out gear oil. this is very common when it is overfilled and really no big deal. just kind of stinky and messy.

thats the axle breather, some others have reported same problem, the axle was most likely a little overfilled from factory...it will make a mess but will eventually stop and should be fine, you could tell your dealer about it if you want but it really should be ok.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Jeep

if you like deep water/muc you may even want to extend your breathers, I did write up on it here is link

No new diff covers or differentials serviced but it is a new vehicle.

Mine did the same thing when it was new. It will make a small stinky mess then sort itself out.
