Default Help with post lift problems

Hey everyone just installed a 3" lift with 35s and alignment. I knew it would ride a lot different but even at low speeds it feels all over the road with no controls of it all. Anything I can do to improve this. Haven't had the death wobble yet but everything just feels "loose" in the steering and control of it. Thanks. Here's a pic

Hmmm.... which lift kit? Did you tighten all the bolts after you lowered the jeep to the ground? Did you install an adjustable trackbar to recenter your axle? Control arms? Could be any number of things.

It's a zone 3" kit on my 2012. I did tighten everything once it was back on the ground. Did not install an adjustable trackbar or control arms. Just installed coils, shocks, and new sway bars. It's not horrible it just rides extremely rough and sways sometimes and it is my DD so id like to fix that problem.

For starters look into getting front adjustable lower control arms. This will allow you to bring your castor back to stock specs and get rid of that flighty feeling you are having. If budget allows you should get a front adjustable track bar to center your axle...

Hey, I installed the same lift and experienced similar feelings.
It felt "twitcher" if that makes sense.
From all the reading, and comparing to my buddy's AEV lift, I have came up with a couple answers.
With the Zone lift being a basic lift without adjustable track bars, without all the little extras the more expensive lifts have I don't believe the geometry etc are as correct.
Now in not as informed as other so they will shoot holes in this or correct me.
But I doubt the springs are as good at dampening, the steering components stay the same and the track bars do too.

I installed the AEV geometry correction kit for the control arms which lowers their mount point and helps correct the angle of the differential to driveshaft.
The kit definitely helped the drivin characteristics of my jeep post zone lift.

I also at the same time as the lift upped to 20" wheels and 35" tires.
From the day I picked it up the tire pressure was way to high and lowering that down to a better level also helped.

That's all I got but we have to learn by trial as error sometimes and I would say my buddy's 2.5 AEV lift have a better ride then mine out of the box but was also twice the price.

Get the geometry correction kit (or adjustable track arms I think) and you will be happier.

Do you remember what you paid for the geometry kit and where you purchased from.

Edit: AEV bracket post.

Front lower adjustable control arms can dial in the castor to minimize the drift. A third option but not really recommended are cam- bolts. But those may not give enough adjustment for a 3 inch lift. Lowering air pressure will also play a roll in drift. Also, with that hieght, keep an eye on your drive shafts.

I wouldn't recommend the dual stabilizers - they cause more problems than they fix and they won't help the flighty feeling. Look into adj control arms or AEV brackets to help with your caster - that's more likely than not your issue. Just a thought....
