Default help with pulling after teraflex BB!?

Hi all,
I have an 09 unlimited Sahara. Installed 33" tires before lift and had no pulling.

Installed TF BB with shock extensions/rear track bar drop bracket/ and rear sway bar links moved up front (teraflex installed in back). Since then I've been having a noticeable pull to the right. Steering wheel is centered. Everything is torqued to spec (just took the whole front apart and put it back together).

no other suspension mods

Anyone have a solution? this is driving me nuts

thanks in advance

Hmm... I installed a Rubicon Express 2" BB and had the same problem. I'm sure others will be more informative but check these out in the meantime...

- b/c you took everything apart check your toe-in. In fact, all you have to do is drive down a straight, not busy road for about 20 yards or so, get out and see if one of your front tires has streaks and/or uneven wear on them. If one of them does than your toe-in needs to be adjusted.

- If your toe-in is fine than perhaps you may have to look into a front adjustable trackbar as perhaps your front axle is off to one side a little too much.

I would bet that your front axle is shifted to the driver's side. You can measure the distance between the frame and the inside of the wheel on each side (with the wheels straight) and see how far off it is.

An alignment may cover up this geometrical problem, but I would recommend you purchase an adjustable trac bar if you intend on doing any more mods (which you will) later on.

Normal driving I can't tell too much there is a pull but mine is flightier. What I do notice is when I brake it's wants to go all over the place. Taking a guess but I'm figuring it's due to the axles/trackbars being out of stock alignment ....too broke to worry about fixing it for now so I live with it

As far as the pulling when you brake, make sure you don't have your tire psi too high. Psi will usually be less than 35 with larger tires on the JK. JK Unlimited is under 6,000lb (2dr is even less) and many oversized tires are rated for larger pickups.

If tires are over inflated, it will give you a flighty ride and will want to wander into the next lane when stopping at lights. Scaring the S**T out of the dude in the next lane I might add.

If the psi isn’t already low, try letting some out, that's a free mod for ya.

I had a pull to the right, even after all the mods in my sig., but after crossing the tires it no longer pulled. Might be worth a shot.

The advice came from Redneckjeep in the thread "Castor Issues."

You might try removing the rear drop bracket to see if the differing telemetries are transmitting the pull since the rear is now offset back to near stock angle but the front has the 2" plus more lifted angle.
Just a thought.
I ran with no drop brackets until I bought front and rear adj track bars. I had to center the steering wheel but noticed no pulling, etc... Did notice a little dog legging on bumps but no pull. Most all the dog leg is gone with the adj track bars.
I am running RC spacer BB + shock extenders and (no drop brakcets) and assume they should react similarly sans bracket.

Well, I got an alignment and switched the front tires and still doing it. Guess I'll try pulling the drop bracket and then getting an adjustable front track if that doesnt work.

thanks for the suggestions so far. keep em coming.
