Default Help removing Plasti-dip that is too thin

I sprayed my grill with dip and I sprayed it too thin and now I have some bare spots that have since began to peel from normal use. I have done some research and know that there is a product that dissolves it for $20 a bottle so I wanted to check here to see if anyone has any experience. Some say goof-off pro strength and others say tire magic silicon tire spray with a pressure washer. I am leaning towards just spraying right over the old dip and building on what is there.

What says the JK Forum?

Took plasti dip off all four of my wheels with wd40. Spray on, let soak 5 min, rub off with shop towel. Super easy!

If ur going to re-dip it there is nothing to think about. Just respray it.

Thank you guys I am going to hit it with fresh dip for now and keep the WD40 as a back up plan if I decide to remove.
