what is the col/ ext lenth of the stock shock vs an aftermarket 3 inch shock. anyone have the measurements of stock? wantinto up grade from the shock extenders i am running.

It varies by maker and lift options......not all 3" lift kits use the same sized shocks....pretty large variation actually.

I've seen 15-24" up to 16-28" versions for a 3" lift.

I'd get something around 15-27/28", dependant upon your willingness to unclip and reposition the e-brake cable, brake wires and lines, etc...so as to LET the suspension USE the extra travel (Free mods). Past about a 27" shock...you have a lot of travel, and you need to make other compensations to stretch it further, but still have the ability to stuff tires as need for stability.

im looking 4 something 2 keep all 4 on the ground as much as possible with out completely unloading the springs.
