WOW It's funny how I ask for some tire advice and get a post full of other stupid opinions. I have had many jeeps in my life, including a well built CJ from the ground up sitting in my garage now that has seen more off roading then most of you will ever see with your JK's. I bought the Sahara to replace a gas guzzling truck I had and throw the wife, kid and dogs in to go for a drive, drive 10 minutes to work, or run through someones front yard if I feel like it I hate the stock look and most people with JK's hit the dirt less then i do and go and throw 33 or 35" MTs on them and they look great, but never see much dirt. I want to change the stock, dinky look of it and make it a more rugged DD with the ability to hit trails when I am near them or on a trip in PA and still get good Gas mileage, running around....SO more opinions on the 2 tires I asked about would be appreciated....

My vote is for the Pro Comps. I have run the Xterrains on my CJ and MTs on my JK. I know that you were not considering either of these 2 tires but can happily say I have been very happy with my Pro Comps. Haven't had any problems with them. I was actually looking at the xtreme at'a for the JK but my wife got me the MTs. No complaints.

Also look at the Cooper STTs. They may seem aggressive but drive very well on the road, are very quiet, look great and ,most importantly, kick ass off road. I was able to put their 33s on my stock rims easily with no rubbing. Just make sure to bend you front brake lines to face toward the vehicle from the front hubs or they can rub with full lock and wheel compression.

If everyone just answered the original poster's questions this forum would be extremely boring.

I'll be sure not to reply to your threads ever again. Have a nice day.

I run 35x12.5s pro comp extreme m/ts. Ithink they're great and not real loud on the road. Ihad mickey thompson baja claws before and the hummed really loud.

Some of you are funy as Sh!t. I asked about some tire choice opinions and most of you gave some good opinions and I thank you. The rest that just want to throw another topic of opinion or try and bash me because you are borred, I could really give a sh!t. Thanks for all the useful opinions guys. I will probably go with the Pro Comps...

I get that you want opinions on your two choices, but you don't have to be a miserable ass about it. If you're going to post on forums on the interwebs, you're probably going to have to deal with other people's opinions on whatever they feel like typing. If you want to ask nicely and be friendly, you'll probably get a lot more help. That being said, there are a ton of JK's on this forum that have probably seen more mud than you have, so take it down a notch and relax. Both of the tires you have asked about are solid AT tires. They will take you where you need to go and I would be surprised if either of them disappointed you.

You will catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar.
