Default help with trektop nx

Just bought trektop nx for 08 unlimited and am having problems with the rear quarter panels. Can someone show me how they seal around the door? The only think I can figure is that they rely on the door to hold that front edge in and that doesn't seem to be working very well.........

If you do a quick search there is a thread about people having issues with it

Also many threads on this top and common problems/troubleshooting

The best advice I can give you without seeing a picture of you exact problem, is make sure it's warm outside, snap the door surround in and hold it tight while zipping the window about an inch at the top and in the rear. Then snap the flaps under the rails on the side. The common problem is that because the window is just kind of hanging before it was zipped, it can want to pop out of the door surround quite easily.

But I believe the thread you should look at is called "trektop nx help" or something like that

I don't know if mine is the same on my 2012 but i had to have someone hold them while i zipped the back a little then they kinda molded into place and they stay just fine now. Make sure you are sliding the plastic piece all the way into the groove to keep it in. If not it will remain loose and the door won't close.
