Pretty much everytime I drive i have a slight wobble it the steering wheel. Its not that bad but it is noticleable. every time i hit a bump or pot hole i get the dreaded "death wobble" . It really sucks and i want my jeep to be driveable and safe again.
I have nitto terra grapplers 33" no lift
Already had the tires balanced and rotated
Is it the ball joints, alignment? Loose bolts?
Help me!!! What shoul i check or look for?
I've already checked out a couple other threads on how to fix death wobble but i have a consistant wobble.. Helppppp

before you spend money on replacing your bolts, maybe you should just try tightening them to torque specs. just trying to save you some money.

Mine turned out to be the ball joints. There was just a little play in the passenger side

The stabilizer is not a fix for this problem, it merely hides it. If you removed your stabilizer completely you should not have any wobble to speak of.

You should really read that thread wayoflife posted...many of us have gone through the same stuff you have.

1. Does this wobble only occur at a certain speed? If so, it is likely your tires. I know you mentioned you had them balanced, but unfortunately few shops know how to balance trail tires correctly. Take them to a shop with Roadforce equipment and experience.
2. Does this wobble only occur when you are on rough roads? It may very well be your balljoints. Unbalanced tires will hasten their demise. Ive read that most JK ball joints are toast after 40k miles after running larger tires.
3. Does this wobble cause ESP or other lights to go off? This could help narrow down the problem.
4. Does this wobble cause you to totally lose control of your vehicle? That would be death wobble and the fore mentioned info will help you track it down.

No esp lights or any warning lights when getting the wobble. Im thinking its the ball joints now...
