Default Hemi engine swap questions

Ive got a 2010 Rubi 6-spd and im seriously considering getting a DIY Hemi kit from Burnsville Offroad. There kits look great but neither Burns or AEV kits say anything about the fuel system. Do you not have to upgrade the fuel system? Also can I keep my 6-spd trans or do i have to get the motor and trans from the donor vehicle?

This is along the same questioning I asked. I have an 08 6-speed. The Tranny (and Rubicon Case) are supposed to work with the hemi swap.

I considered both the Burnseville and AEV kits. The bigger deal is that if you snag a truck hemi/manual combo it will have the better granny low than the jeep tranny. I was wondering if the powerwagon had the hemi/manual/4-1 t-case combo?

Also, using a jeep hemi as a donor is much easier than using a truck or non-jeep SUV motor. You can go to Burnsville's site and check out their kit's components. It shows you which fuel system items are replaced and which ones you keep, among other requirements.

You can find motors in the $2K to 2600 range.

Good luck! I'm still over a year away from my swap.

Why is it easier to use a Jeep Hemi than a truck Hemi, if the kit comes with everything you need? I have found some good looking engines with low mileage on ebay for around $2500

There is a difference between Hemi and Jeep/Charger Hemi related to the air intake, exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, fuel filter mount, etc.. etc...

Here is my build thread when I installed a 2012 Truck Motor VVT into my 2010 JKU.
