If the Hemi is giving you this much of a problem, that must really suck. The Chevy that he is referring to is Motech LS Swap. Basically it takes a Corvette motor and puts it in the JK. It is a lighter engine and has a large aftermarket parts options. I have heard of less problems with the LS conversions, although they are only a few years old now.

Motech is based out of Las Vegas, NV which is a desert area, so they are aware of the conditions you face daily out there in the UAE.

You should have no issues selling your Hemi JK there and making most of your money back. Try selling it here, and you'll lose an arm and a leg.

Selling it is a very good option although there might be a solution for this issue. Or if it does not Work out then selling it and get a 2014 and start from scratch without a Hemi.

It overheats fast which kills the fun, so I would like some technical assistance if possible from you guys. Contacted BOR but it takes ages to hear from them.
3 Hemi engined Jeeps I've wheeled together with, in the desert, never had these problems.

In your hot weather, any engine you end up with would be better off with efficient hot air venting, and this hood is the most efficient - worth checking:

That's only if the guy is willing to cut into the firewall and mod his frame. Plus the engine is almost a half a ton.

This is my Jk it's got the AEV hood, I liked the hood from total innovations but didn't like the high hump on it.

Yes, some like it some don't...
I pointed to them that many people don't like the hump, and asked if they would consider making it wider and lower. They wouldn't even consider it.

Good looking Jeep! I like the slanted top.

I bet it's a simple fix. I just wheeled mine here in Arizona. It was 111 this weekend and I went from Phoenix up our mountains 7-8000 feet and back running 80-85 mph with no issues. It would creep up to 220 when going up steep grades but then cool back down to 210. I was pushing it hard trying to see if it would have problems. 210 is its normal temp no matter what it's doing. I would like to get the AEV hood someday.

I wonder if when you hit G outs while duning, your making the fuel emergency shut off to trigger? Or possibly it thinks its in a crash?

I dune here in the US, and G outs can get pretty hard.

Also look into an oil cooler with its own fan. I've used them on high HP sand rails and it helps.

Another thing I thought of, if it has electric fans like mine. Check the circuit breaker they run the fans on. If its an auto reset, it might be popping and over heating the Jeep, then resetting when the breaker cools after a few minutes.

Or the fans were not programmed for the correct on/off temps. The computer needs to change to run at higher temps. So both primary and secondary kick when needed. Or high low whichever it has.

2nd on the accident fuel cut off safety switch comment.
In this case the jeep has a roll over safety cut-off feature. Make sure it is still enact, functioning properly and or programmed for the correct angles.

This ^^^. Motech actually has a BOR Hemi JKU in their shop right now that they are pulling out for the owner as it initially had overheating issues. The owner was tired of messing with the Hemi even after Robbie (at Motech) helped him sort out the issue so he now has Motech replacing it with an LSA engine. Robbie may be able to help you with your Hemi issue so it could be worth a call.
