I'm getting new 33s 285 70 17 km2s and I wanted info about lifts (1.75 or max 2 inches)

i dont want to go 2.5 just yet until i get 35s...

any suggestions ?

I read about the daystar 1.75 lift ... have any of you experienced it ?

I want something reliable, durable and good quality

Any BB will be fine, just decide on which extra components you want. As far as I know, the only coil kit in that lift range is the new TF Performance Leveling kit, so that may be an option if you plan on adding some weight up front.

I plan to run 35s too, but not until I can regear and have a tire carrier. So I went with 33s. I did put a TF 2.5" lift on though so I am ready for the 35s. Only wanted to spend the money once.

I don't have experience with TF performance levelling kit, but I like the quality of my lift, and the support I have received from TF. Buying TF was decision for me.

I ran the Daystar leveling kit(with rubi 32" km's) for awhile before I put on the TF 2.5" lift.

It was just 1.75" spacers for the front and .75" spacers for the rear. It was pretty level, the front sat slightly higher than the back, not much at all though. I liked it(esp for the $) and I had no troubles with brakelines or anything. I didn't notice a change in handling from stock either.

I also reused the .75" rear spacers with the 2.5" coil lift.

You could look into swaping springs from a 4dr Rubicon. Depending on your current springs you can expect .75"-1.5" lift.

This sounds interesting, Thanks ! Would this require longer shocks ? I have the rubicon stock ones. Do you know people that have done it ? images ? links ?

Thanks !

I just installed a Rough Country 1.75 in lift with my stock Rubi tires. I think it looks great and would give you plenty of room for your 33s. Install was easy, didn't change my stock ride whatsoever. Pic in the snow is lifted, other is before.

Leveling kit: http://www.teraflex.biz/jk-wrangler-leveling-kit.html
but the leveling kit doesn't come with the shock adapters, how much are those ?
