I wrapped a small ratchet strap around the base where all the moving parts are as it sit on my mount and it took care of all the noise.

LOL for the record I didn't actually try using KY. Might get my hi lift too excited.

I think good old grease should work - the kind you squirt into zirk fittings. The squeaks for me come from the base - there's a ton of metal-to-metal contact down there.
Hey Crazy Chris! Yeah, I am headed up there with the big group...wish you could come too! We'll take lots of pictures and convince you to come next year!

HAHA, true story, never want a hi-lift to get too excited now!

I don't know how I would get grease down in there and keep it in there. I am actually thinking of taking it off for when I am driving around and just use it when I wheel, but then if I get a flat tire I am probably screwed.

Default problem solved

Take the base off, wrap the bottom 3" of the shaft with electrical tape, cut hole, re-insert bolt .. .call it a day.

It might be the jack too... investing in the neoprene boot and handle isolater will do wonders too.

Found out the cheap wingnut fell off so I replaced it with a bolt with washers and a nut cranked it tight and sprayed the lift with some zep45. No squeaks now. Need to get the handle isolator but a lot less noisy now.
