Question Hi-Lift Jack Mount---Hood

I really want to mount my Hi-Lift Jack to my hood but I'm wondering if there is a way to secure/lock it. I'm afraid that it will be stollen if I mount it to my hood.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I've seen one somewhere but I can't remember where. I'll check it out, but then again, I'm sure the jeep community has a DIY solution as well!

I have mine montes to the hood and have 2 locks on it... Everything needs to be locked down in Chicago!

I'll post photos later of the locks I used. I used master lock all stainless locks with rubber cases. One lock locks the hi lift to the mount and the other locks the spreader piece to the hi lift itself.

Found my mounts on Flea-Bay and painted them to color match the jeep.

Locks down really nice and looks good too

Yeah I'm wondering how much modification would be needed to keep the windshield sprayer working. Maybe this could be a mount that could work. Thanks for posting.

Could you also post some close up pics of the locks on the mounts?

Thanks for posting.

I sure will... the spray nozzle works perfectly so long as the handle is forward. no issues and no rattle.

60 inch fits perfectly

I have these. Designed for a lock and you don't have to relocate your washer fluid sprayer.

Dont have a lock on mine, but it would be easy to install if I need one. But I also have a K-9 security system.
