After 3 applications and another trip to the blast cabinet I finally had it stripped down to my satisfaction. I painted them with High Temp flat black. Not that the diff gets very hot, it's just what I had laying around. They turned out awesome. ARB makes a bad ass cover but they really should offer them in black.

there are spray cans and paintbrush type paint. The spray cans are only 5oz and I ordered 2 cans one dor each diff cover.
