Default high steering kit

I have a 2012 with a 2.5 lift and 35" tires. Does anyone have any pros and cons about a high steering kit. Looking at this kit to see if it corrects wobble and alignment. The kit im looking at is the AEV high steer kit. Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

Not enough lift to justify a high steer or drag link flip. Address your caster and your toe and you will be fine

^^^What he said. You'd probably have more issues by doing it. 3.5" of lift is when you might begin to consider it. If you have issues, fix them.

As previously stated, no to the high steer kit. What sort of wobble and alignment problems do you have? And if your profile isn't filled out detailing your mods, you should do so (can't tell, I'm on phone right now). And who installed lift? Did they lower Jeep to ground before torquing all eight control arms and the track bars? If answer isn't a definite yes, recommend you loosen it all up, bounce and jounce your Jeep, then retorque to factory specs: All at 125 ft-lbs except front upper control arms at 85.

As the others noted, a high steer / flip is used on taller lifts to flatten the steep angles of the trackbar and draglink. It won't correct the alignment (caster/camber/toe).

You have a 2.5" AEV lift? Did it include the control arm drop brackets whose job it is to adjust the caster? If they are installed, which hole are they set on? The one for a 2.5" lift? The 3.5" lift? Or the 4.5" lift?

I do have the AEV lift. I also have the correction bracket. (I think that's what it's called). I installed the lift kit myself. I did not lower it down and torque it to specs. Impact gun, more power. Steering just seems loose at times. Kind of annoying.

The reason you lower jeep to ground before you torque the bolts is so the bushings are in a neutral position. Plus if you just ran the impact on them your are most likely pinching the bushings too. IMHO

Yeah, it is. Correction brackets take care of caster problems. But do as I suggested above about loosen, bounce, jounce, retorque. That should help a bunch.
