Default highway speed driving?

May have just been the wind today, but while driving 70-75mph it is hard and must stay focused on driving 24/7. Now I'm not saying its not important to look at the road 100%. But my jeep "fights" to stay on the road. It's not like an alignment job per say, but the jeep I guess is harder to maintain at higher speeds.
How fast do you drive? It feels comfortable and easier at say 60-65. Is it my lift? ( 4" rough country) would a better one be better?.. Rock Krawler, AEV, Rubicon Express, Currie, etc....? Long arm?

Just looking for a smoother, better road manners ride. Maybe a better stabilizer?

Thanks.

That's what I'm thinking. The wind was pretty strong and going 70-75 trying to keep up with traffic was hard keeping the jeep in its lane.

Was just wondering if a better lift, stabilizer could solve the issue. Only 400 miles on her, so ill give it a little longer lol.

Thanks.

You drive a brick...that being said, what components do you have with your lift?

I just got back from a 9 hour trip Easter Weekend and I was on I 95 for a good amount of time and had the cruise set on 80 MPH and it was fine. I only had problems between Brunswick and Savanna due to the high winds and gusts. Its right on the water and Bridges over intercostal waterways. Besides that no problems at all traveling at highway speeds.

My Kit did come with LCA's to correct my Driveline Geometry. Thats why I went with the RC series II 3.5" lift over the 4" lift. Also the kit came with some nice Nitro shocks as well.

What all did your 4" lift come with? Control arms, drop pitman arm?

Most likely it did not come with a draglink flip kit. This will help with steer-ability quite a bit. Otherwise, an above poster said it right...it's a lifted brick that will be effected by cross winds.

I have RK shocks and 5.5" lift. Highway driving wasn't that bad until I put some iroks, now it wonders a lot. Anyways I don't go over 65 on the highway.

What is the caster and tire size/pressure? Mine gets twitchy in strong wind also, but I think low caster and too high tire pressure could contribute.
