I have OME HD + 35" tires. I got the ball drop from Wal Mart...the one they offer with the most drop.

I towed a fully loaded U-haul (the biggest one) with minimal sag and had no issues.

Good luck with it.

with the OME I would go with a 6'' drop hitch. I use a 3.25'' with a stock suspension and it still has the front up on the trailer. I could use a 4'' or more to tow level.

Your question can't be answered without knowing the height of the tongue on whatever trailer you are towing.

That's why I have an adjustable drawbar. I have several trailers of different heights.

Yah, what ronjenx said. On whatever you're towing, measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. On your Jeep, measure the distance from the ground to the top of your receiver hitch. The difference between the two measurements is how much drop (or rise) you'll need. An adjustable ball mount will allow you to accomodate various trailers and changes in your Jeep's height. Also be aware that there are various size hitch balls, so make sure it matches your coupler size.

Harbor Freight has a nice adjustable mount that is very heavy duty.
I have a 4.5" lift with 35s and it has plenty of drop for even the smallest trailer.
(It's also less than half the cost as the same mount purchased form a hitch store)

2.5" lift and 35's for me and I use two different sizes, a 6" drop for my utility trailer and boat trailer and a 2" drop for my army trailer at the cabin.

If you don't know, I'd suggest buying an adjustable one. What I payed for both of mine could have covered the cost of the adjustable. Oh well live and learn for me, hopefully you learn from my mistake
