I gotta get me a welder and start weliding..I only know wood..and wood don't get it when it comes to bumpers (or doors like the one I saw on a thread in here..LOL)

I know I will proally get flamed for this, but has anyone just cut the ends off of their stock bumper and used a winch plate?

I have searched, but I can't find anything on it.
