I bought the Mopar one online for like $60, plus $15 for a Harbor Freight rivet tool. Half hour to install.

Not only does it keep shit from getting stolen, but it also stopped the hood flutter.

Oh, and because it uses the ignition key, there's no other key to lose, or forget to give to the service guy when I get my free oil changes.

I like the ones that replace the rubber latches. Its two in one kinda thing.

Now the master key for such a thing looks like this...

No hood lock for me, last thing I want is to be stuck out in the bush somewhere any can't get under the hood because my lock is messed up or filled with crap.

Only ones I would consider would be the ones that replace the rubber outsides with metal locks. At least it is still accessible from the outside.

I have the Tuffy one and like it. You will definitely want the cover to prevent gunk getting in there. I like the Tuffy one because it is cheaper and you can leave it unlocked if you want. Safety level is the same with both. I unlock mine when i air down at a trial head and relock it when I air up when I'm done.

MOPAR one you have to kill the engine to get access to the hood unless you carry your spare key. You cannot pull your key out until you lock it with the MOPAR unit.
