Default Hood Struts and a Snorkel

I am thinking of getting the TeraFlex hood struts to help me open my hood up. It is a real PITA to do it with one hand (Injury). However I also want to get an AEV Snorkel down the road. I was wondering if anyone knows if both are compatible? I just want to make sure the strut doesn't connect to a part of the hood that ends up getting cut off lol. Thanks.

should not be an issue. The area you have to cut for the AEV is all the way at the front by the air box.

I could not find a picture of where the hood struts connect but cannot imagine they would be that far foward.

I just heard back from Terraflex, they will not clear the Snorkel.

I would really like to get a snorkel, any one have any suggestions. I cant do the Rugged Ridge, because I have a set of D2's mounted on my windshield brackets.

Anyone seen the new ARB and how it mounts up?

This is for a 2012 btw

Thanks

The ARB is the one I'm waiting on. It has not been released yet.

Check out HoodLift. I'm running these with my snorkel, you just need to make sure you order the ones for the AEV hood so the forward mount clears the snorkel. No clearance problems at all.

I have both and NO PROBLEMS.
Teraflex hood struts are a very nice solution.
Get them both, you'll be glad you did, I am.

I had my struts already installed when my snorkel arrived. Struts had to go - will NOT fit!
