Painted Rear Diff Cover
Hey guys and gals, I'm currently waiting for the first coat of paint to dry on my rear diff cover, I didn't take it off to paint it and ill return when it's all done with pictures to show you all how it turned out! For now here's the steps I've taken to get this far.
.) I took a iron brush attachment on a power drill to get all the big pieces off
.) used GUNK original engine degreaser (a few coats) to get the grease off
.) sprayed it down with water
.) used steel will to scrape more off
.) used more degreaser and sprayed it down again
.) used cardboard and tape it mask it off
.) put on 2 coats of rust oleum rest reformer flat black paint
.) now just put on my first coat of rust oleum automotive enamel
