I like to see the manufacturer get on here and back up their product. I didn't have a real interest in a headliner but now I'm considering this product.

I've had them for a year, maybe longer. The back one came loose at the velco connection a couple times but I just pressed it back up and it was fine. They make a big difference in temp in the Jeep, I must say.

I too installed the headliners from Hothead. I was very careful to follow the instructions, even removing the front roof sections and installing the liners with the roof panels upside down on the floor. I also left them overnite that way for the glue to "cure" . After about a month, the panels have started to come "unglued".
Mine were installed with the double sided tape, not the velcro tape. Mark from Hothead is sending me the velcro tape to try. The fit of the panels is very good, and hopefully the velcro tape will perform better than the double sided tape did.

Default Hothead Headliners new 3M tape

Hi Everyone,
In an effort to continually improve the quality and performance of our product we have changed the permanent attachment method for our headliners. We were using a 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape which performed well in all our tests but has turned out to have some issues under certain conditions, mostly when installed in cold climates. After many talks with the reps at 3M, and loads of extreme tests, we have found a permanent adhesive (a 3M VHB Tape) that we are 100% confident will keep our headliner panels stuck to your hard top under the most extreme conditions. This VHB Tape is a dense 1/16” thick acrylic tape that will also help dampen the vibrations in your hardtop thereby further reducing road noise. We are in the process of shooting some videos which will demonstrate how ridiculously good this VHB Tape works. We should have them up on our web site, Hothead Headliners, in about a week. We'll post some links here when they're done.

Thanks everyone for all your support and kind word,

Mark

Default hothead

Hello everyone, I am thinking about buying the liners, but before I do I am wondering if they really make that big of a difference. If you have them installed and you love them please let me know.

The hothead headliners work; they help to insulate and they cut down on noise too. I have the full set including the rear side windows in my 11' Rubi. Unl. in the tan color and they look pretty good w/ the tan leather seats. Mine uses the velcro system which has worked very well except for one drooping panel which Hothead sent me some more velcro which cured it.
No compaints, a good product and great customer service which is maybe even more important.
I also put dynomat style insulation under the entire floor inside of my Jeep, and also under all 4 door interior panels, and also under the cargo mount on the inside of the rear gate, it was a pita to do but it definately has made the interior much quieter.

Would you mind snapping some pics for me of your set up? i am about to order the headliners and i am trying to decide between the brown and black. I have the tan leather in my 12, so not real sure. Thanks
