I followed instructions on the "Red's Fender Trim" thread in the write-up section, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Seriously, take a look at the thread and give it a shot... You literally have nothing to lose.

Best case scenario you saved yourself a few hundred bucks, worst case scenario you end up spending the few hundred on something you were going to buy anyway (I am putting my few hundred saved towards a re-gear).

FWIW, I did fender trim and spidertrax 1.5" spacers and I am running a 315/70/17 (essentially a 34" tire) with no lift. I need to trim plastic undertray and add bigger bumpstops and I am good to go with a 35" tire. I prefer the no lift option to keep center of gravity as low as possible.

I have Teraflex Budget Boost spacers and rubi 4dr springs if I ever decide to go 37's

You know that's a good point. Thanks for the great suggestion... Really love the way your jeep looks... I think I'm gonna give trimming my fenders a try... Thanks for all the help!!

This has been great for us newbies. This is how I was going to go. I have a 1.75 space lift and was going to get flat fenders. But chopping it looks good to.

When chopping (can tell on that pic with the mud) do you still retain that inner fender wall (not sure what it is called)? In the other pis'c it is gone. Also, is there a write up to chop the fender, but leave the side lights on? I did the side marker mod and would like to keep it.

Most of the time guys just toss the inner out. I did make mine work with my steel fenders. I just drilled holes and cut the inner fenders until I could bolt them up to the inner fender location

I ditched my inner fender, but I did "keep" my light, it is somewhat hidden so it can only be seen from the side and functions as a rock light. I'll post some pics tonight on what I did. Others have kept their inner liner (just requires some extra trimming). Some have used a small dash light led as a marker light.
