How did you do it?!? PSC question.
I recently bought the PSC Brawler lite with tube gussets and I'm wondering how you guys painted them... I live in the Pacific Northwest and I'm scared to death to paint it and have I rust out on me after a year. I really have no concerns except behind the mounting bracket where the bumper will actually bolt to the frame... Would it be easier to just have it powder coated or do you guys recommend the rattle can special?!? Thanks for the help! Oh and I have it it a stage of plastidip right now to prevent rusting while it's in limbo.
I used a few coats of etching primer, then rattle can Rustoleum bedliner on all my Poison Spyder gear. That way when I bang it up, I just take out a can and fix it. When I was starting the process of buying my PSC stuff, I read alot of different JK owners' ways of getting them painted. This seemed to be the least expensive, and easily able to be fixed.

I over-sprayed on the backside by sticking the rattle can at the openings and spraying. I'm sure I missed some spots, but could not see any that didn't have at least some covering. It may not be perfect, but we don't get much rain in SoCal.
right now snow banks 7 feet high it will be some time. 3 coats of etching primer , but first clean it down with alcohol. not
rubbing alcohol then spray it w/primer
then 2 or 3 coats of bed liner / rustolium bed liner spray

toss a few more photos in better lighting and angles after it was installed ! the tube gussets are way better looking than with out and having both is that much better.
