Pulling it out is only one way to protect yourself!

For the best protection....

How about some flush mount LEDs to go with your AEV corner guards?

I would fix it then put the guards on, just in case there's a next time. If the paint is cracked it will just rot out under the guards.

From reading your posts, you wheel alot. I'd just pull/hammer it out the beast I could, rattle can it, put on some corner guards and be done.

As sure as you fix it, you'll smash it again.

I would get corner guards and fix it yourself.

Yeah, pull it out a little, sand any spots where the paint has been violated, primer it, and get those AEV guards. The area that you damaged is one of my greatest concerns as well as the door sill (already nicked up mine) above the stock rubi slider.
