How hard is it to install a cb?

I have that setup on mine. I grounds without doing anything to the mount. Mine works great. My SWR is 1.2 pretty much across the 40 channels.

I installed the midland 822 handheld with the cooltech ultra mount, and a cooltech sparetire mount kit that came with the 3 or 4 foot firestick . This setup acually grounds to the subwoofer mount screw. It worked awsome for me on our trail ride

A: not hard at all. Follow the write up from project Jk and you'll be fine

You will get very inconsistent SWR readings which leads to poor performance and possibly damage to the CB radio. You must remember that the whip is only 1/2 of the antenna system....your Jeep makes up the other 1/2. Ground, ground, ground!!
