ughh well there is still opinion all over the place...

I am going to wheel, not very hard... but I am going to... I dont want to worry about the damn DS but I got the rubi so I could disco and have fun....

Is a teraflex 3'' coil lift with shocks... or a RC 3'' coil lift with 2.2's going to make me replace the DS ??

does a bodylift screw up anything ?? or weaken anything ?? or add to DS angles?

ughh I just wish there was a real solid answer...

like up to 3.5 inches is ok... 3.6 inches and over is NOT ok.

instead people say 3 inches will need new DS and others say 4inches and still no problem... its just all over the place :(

OK joey2times. Being that you have a unlimited and want to run a 3", you won't need to replace that rear driveshaft at first. Now some JK'ers have over several thousand miles on stock front/rear shafts with 3" kits. The problem with the OEM shafts is that they are fat/thin metal and designed to run flat. The fronts are known to snag the boot when flexing the front alot. Boot snag = grease flung= dried bearings= drive shaft toasted. If your just doing mild wheeling, I bet you can get the stock shafts to last along time. If vendors/manufactors didn't suggest shafts and a consumers failed, guess who get's the blame? The manufactor/vendor. TeraFlex 3" coils lift the front 4.25"+ to elimate the factory rake. 2.5" coils lift it 3.1"+, but we are out of 2.5" coils right now.

so with the TF 3'' coil lift with shocks... I am going to need to replace my front DS... thats pretty much the bottom line...

ughh I guess I am going to have to wait for you guys to get your 2.5'' coil lift... and shocks or something...

Its a lease, for now...
I gues I am better off getting a smaller bb lift for now and adding 1-2'' on a BL

blah...
