how long does it take to install gears?

well the front is done now. It took all day yesterday to get the pattern right. Hopefully they will have better luck with the read dana 44.

I was told that I will not need a new carrier, they are all the same just different gear thickness. Also mopar only has one carrier for the d30 and none rubicon d44.

Well it turns out I didn't need a new carrier. The D30 from what I understand uses different carriers between 3.21 and (3.73/4.10). I had 3.73 gears

The more I think about it, the more I think it wasn't a problem with the carrier, but a problem w/ the gears. I bought mine really early so there may have been some problems with the early gears, or so I've heard.

Either way, all is well now. No problems, grinding, wining/roaring etc.
