I'm seeing some heavily modded JK's on the pages of this forum. How many of you have done your own work and how many paid to have their Jeep lifted etc?

I very rarely let a mechanic touch my vehicles. The only think I think I'm going to let a pro do are the gears I think.

only time someone else touches my jeep is the dealership for free oil changes evrything else I do but gears would be something I let a pro do

All my own or with friends. I'm planning on putting in 5.13's in the near future. Warranty issues dealer does, of course.

mods are expensive, and so are mechanics, I have to have one, but when I don't need the other I try to do stuff myself.

So far I've done all my work. The only thing I wish I new how to do was change the gears myself. Never done it before and I'd like to.

I have done all mine so far, Grab Handles, Side window vents, etc.......


As for the bigger stuff, I will be reaching out for help.
