How many of you installed your own lift
I'm just wondering how many of you actually installed your own lift and how long did it take you? Did you do it in your drive way or did you have access to a lift? Not really interested in hearing about BB lifts but a complete suspension replacement.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm like AA and in ta twelve step process..haha
I installed mine with the help of another forum member. We used his garage and it took about 6 hrs, 8 with lunch and drinking. we only had 2 jack stands and a floor jack. I had zero knowledge of how to do this going in to the install. Since then I've added 1" spacers on my own, the tire carrier and all of the steering components including the extended brake lines. These came about a year and a half later.

With the help of friends I did a 2.5in mopar lift, took about 4-5hrs. That was Shocks/springs/front trackbar/swaybar links.
it can be done with a (really) good tool chest, preferably power tools and the help of someone who knows what they are doing to help things go quicker. Lots of different bolt and nut sizes under there, we used everything from 10-21 mm some english and lots of duplicates.

I did mine in my garage with jack stands and hand tools. I took my time and put about 6 hours in it with multiple breaks too. I have a Teraflex 2.5 with w/ shock extension, Monster track bar and grade 8 bolt kit. Needless to say I was sore the next day...LOL!
