Default how to measure pinion angle?

I have 2011 jku with 3.5 lift, but more like 4. I have a drive train noise and not sure where its coming from. I'm thinking maybe drive shaft. Any help would be great. I should mention the noise was not there at time of installation and seems to be getting worse.

That's a pretty steep lift for the front drive shaft if it is still stock. Check the rubber boot to see if it's torn or if you are slinging grease on the undercarriage.

It could be a pinion bearing.

If you think it's a driveshaft, remove it and go for a drive.

There is a DIY alignment writeup up in the writeups area (index stuck to the top of the section) that shows a way to use a cheap angle gauge to get a ballpark caster number. There are better methods, but that has pics and is a good enough place to start until you can get it to an alignment shop for a printout.

Alignment was done and noise is still there. Forgot to mention I put aev geo and high steer kit on. I don't think this has anything to do with noise. I will remove front shaft and go for a ride.

Can you explain the noise a little more. When exactly does it happen? How loud, what kind of noise?

The noise starts around 10mph and sounds like a fluttering. Almost like there is something flapping around but I've checked everything and all is tight. Noise stops around 50mph. Defiantly louder with doors off. Slight vibration but not like an out of balance tire.
