Default How much $

I was wondering roughly how much a 3.5 full flex Rock Krawler lift would cost to get installed. I just don't have to time to do it myself. I live in SoCal. So if anyone has any recommendations that would be great

Several hundred. Most of what I heard is $300-$400+. OR you can find a buddy there and it only cost you a Saturday and a case of beer.

Which kit? The Max Travel 3.5" kit goes for, what, ~$2500? Each shop is different with labor rates and hours quotes, but if you figure $100/hr and 10 hours to install it... that will take you up to $3500 total.

I wouldn't think it would take near 10 hrs to do. It would be the 3.5 mid arm max travel kit.

Each shop is going to quote you in one of three ways: (1) Standard Hours, (2) Estimated Hours, (3) Actual Hours. Standard hours is going to be what they charge for all similar kits (this is how a dealership charges hours), estimated hours is going to be more tailored to the kit itself and track record of the service tech/installer and his/her familiarity with the product, actual hours is what it actually takes them contingent on circumstances.

I imagine that kit would take 7 hours to install, +/- an hour if you have an idea of what you are doing and you have the right tools. Just because seven hours may seem reasonable, that doesn't mean that is what you'll get a quote for.

For the record, I threw a round number out there... I wasn't saying it takes 10 hours to install the kit. My point is that there are too many variables in coming to the webnetz and looking for an estimate. Call your local shops and ask, it shouldn't take anymore than ten to fifteen minutes to get a ballpark cost estimate.

I ordered the 2.5 Max Travel, front driveshaft, Bilstein shocks. The shop is charging me $425 to install everything. That's about average from the quotes I got recently.

If you bought all the parts yourself, they might want to charge more since they're not making money on the parts. The shop I'm getting stuff done at marks everything up 10%. I asked if it would be less expensive to get my own parts and pay for the install. They said it would work out to the same price, they would just charge more for the install.

That's more of the price rage I would guess. How much did ur lift and shocks run you. Plus driveshaft. Ball park?

Everything including the labor came to about $2700. While I was negotiating the price, I was able to get them to install my Rubi rails that I got used + my Ace Rock Rails.

Should hopefully be installed within about 3 weeks as soon as the parts come in.
