How to prevent braking trac bar brackets
I read a lot about trac bar brackets broken on the axle. I'm not talking about trac bar relocation brackets, I'm talking about the stock trac bar brackets. If your Jeep is stock, how can I prevent braking these brackets? Is there an aftermarket product for that?
BTW, what are gussets?

If yes, I can't do that: No welding on direction/suspension in France.
Do you know another "no welding" brace ?
On a stock Jeep they don't break. It's when you want to re-center the axle after lifting it. But, the frame side mounts aren't prone to failure. Have had my TF frame side mount on for about 30,000 miles and no issues.

Okay I understand. Recentering the axle will make more stress on the trac bar brackets. Here's one more question. I have the project to put a 2.5" BB lift (coil spacers) in 2010. With the winch, it will probably drop at 2". So, I won't need to recenter the axle. With this configuration, do you think that the trac bar brackets will be solid enough?
I have been running 2.5" BB for about 25,000 miles.... HEAVY LoD rear bumper, HEAV Y Teraflex front bumper with Warn winch... stock brackets.. never had a problem..
I do not wheel as hard as jkkat. (I dont think anyone on JK-forum does, MAYBE "DILDO")
