Default Hub lockout question

Does anyone know of a company that make a manual lockout kit for our jk? only reason I ask is it would be nice not to continously have wear on the front diff even in 2wd. maybe even pick-up 1-2 mpg

spyntec industries, aka Solid Axle has had them out for about 2 years.

I have them on my 44, works out nicely, you will have to switch to 5x5.5 wheels

Did you notice a measurable increase in fuel economy when you installed the hubs?

I drive my Jeep like its stolen. So I dont notice anything, When my wife drives we get better gas mileage. Whatever i gained it probley was lost with 37's

The steer is easier with the kit, You can definetly tell a difference when its locked in. I have absolutely no front driveline viberations, which didnt seem like a big deal before. But now the more people have exploded their transfercase, its another good reason to have them.

go to solidaxle.com and order it, or call up and talk to Matt.

Its around $1400 for the D30, a little more for inner shafts for the D44
