humvee wheels on jeep
I'm considering ordering a set of the 8 bolt hummer h1 beadlock wheels with the 37" tires from trail worthy fab, i really love the look of this set up and the price for it is cheap. I know that if i put these on i'll have to re gear and buy a set of adapters, but the thing that concerns me is i'm unsure that my front dana 30 would be able to handle these, would it be able to?

Real answer = I don't know
Take the wheel/tire choice out of the equation and just search on threads about axle upgrades. It is a hot topic, and you will find a ton of threads asking the same thing. I personally am in favor of upgrading to a PR44 or any of the 60's, and just melting the stock housings down for slag. But you will find a lot of people that have no issues running them with larger tires.
Also, you can have them re-center the rims for any bolt pattern, so no need for spacer/adapters.

Would be a great mod if you could get your JK to automatically air down and air up the tires with a push of the button like the H1. Then, just maybe I could justify a Hummer part on my Rubi..

yea they are not the same the same mtrs that are sold to the public. they will give a very rough ride. there are a few threads on the hummer wheel things. i like the price of those rims, you just need wheel adaptors. The only thing to keep in mind is that they are a heady rim so you axles are gonna hate you with 37's.
You will NOT need spacers as TWF will make it a 5x5 bolt pattern for you as well as the backspacing you want.
I have seen this set up on the trail and can tell you they work well on Jeeps. Remember, it is a beadlock so you can air down a bit more. As for the ride, they are a load range D tire which will ride better than Es that some here are running. Also, if you feel you need more traction, you can also groove these tires. I did with the ones I put on my CJ.
