So that's good right?

Not only is it good that they are cheaper, but once you have them you can buy HMMV take-offs for the prices the OP said and save a TON of money! I don't get that guys argument about the Walker-Evans.

I've been contemplating this exact idea. I am either going to buy some 15" wheels and 35" MTR/Ks or go with these Trail-Worthy Fab HMMV 16.5" re-centered wheels and 37" tires.

My concern is that the 37s and HMMV takeoffs are going to be too heavy for my D30. The price of the TWF combo is going to initially be cheaper and the price of future tires will be a HELL of A LOT cheaper.....BUT, I would need to sleeve and gusset or put a PR44 in?!

It's a tough decision. Is the initial cost of the axles reinforcement or PR44 build going to be worth it in the end for the 37s? Or should I just go with the 35s on 15" combo?!

Sleeve and Gussets costs less than $200. Gussets at the minimum. Sleeves would be suggested. You'll still be saving money with TWF and 37" tires and Sleeve and Gussets.
