Default Hydrolocked.. Engine Suggestions?

So a couple days ago I hydrolocked my engine while offroading, and need a new one. Any suggestions on engines to look at getting? Ive found some cherokee engines for a decent price, but not sure if they'll fit. Any help/suggestions are much appreciated! (Btw my Jk is a 2010)

All depends on how much $$ you've got to spend. A gently used 3.8 would be the least expensive route.

Your profile doesn't say where you live. Try to find a shop that does Hemi/LS swaps into JKs. Should be able to pick up a 3.8L from them fairly cheap.

Motech, Jeep Speed Shop, Bruiser, 4ws.com, Burnsville. These guys all do Hemi, LS and/or Diesel swaps for the JK, so should be worth contacting for used 3.8 engines. See if any are close to you.

There is also the 4.1 stroker from 505 performance 3.8L Jeep Stroker JK Engine - COMPLETE!!!.

I do not know much about it, but figured it is an option. They make it sound like they not only boosted the power but fixed the other issues in the engine.

I'd use this as the ideal time to drop a Hemi in there! This chance may never present itself again.

What did I just tell you in the other thread?! Your comment should read "I'd only get a Cummins because the Hemi and LS are total garbage."

Hahaha. Ok, I'm done messing with you. Can you tell it is Friday and I've spent too many hours at my desk this week???
