Default Hypertech Max Energy Major Problems

Installed the Max Energy today on the 2008 Unlimited Wrangler - Installed fine. Unplugged. Started Jeep and it died after 5 seconds. Started Jeep again and stalled in the driveway. Jeep is now in the garage. Unit read that there is an error and cannot return to stock to call the 800 #. Of course, they were closed for the day at 3:00 MST.... ANy thoughts?

I would reinstall but change something like your tire size and do not change the cooling. Make sure that when you first plug it in your JK is off, the turn to on position when it says and make sure it is on with all the dash lights on but not running. Then follow the instructions. I should take about 20 minutes for it to program and you will know it is done when your cooling fan comes on. Follow the instructions and turn your key to off. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Sorry for the time zone difference, have you contacted tech support this morning? I'll shoot you a PM with the number.

I think it's time Hypertech makes things right. I started a poll to see if anyone was interested in additional features the competition is providing. The answer is definitely YES! I know I would feel less concerned I made the right decision if Hypertech came through. Here's a poll for one feature - TPMS programming.

Hypertech - there has been a few faux pas with the updates lately. How about some features to keep the loyal, well, "loyal"??

I am very pleased with the install in my Jeep. I would though like to see TPSM added!!!!! Put those programmers to work!
