You guys need to be more specific as to what yuo have it programmed for. regular or premium. If you look at hypertechs numbers for the unit there is a good difference between the reg and pre. performance figures.
I'll vouch for this, and am really glad that I bought the Hypertech... note that I also have the Airaid installed. I experimented a bit, and I found:
  • Using 87 octane with the 87 octane performance setting gave a decent little increase (noticeable, but could be better).
  • Using 87 octane on the 93 octane setting was about equal to stock performance.
  • Using 93 octane with the 93 octane setting yielded a BIG increase, especially noticeable in the 2 - 4K RPM range (i.e. highway driving, passing, etc.)

Just installed mine today...Regular octane setting...I am pleased with the results..I noticed a better response at the low end..Before my JK felt a little sluggish at take off, now it feels a little peppier. I purchased it for the sake of recalibrating the new tires I'll be running and keeping the odometer & speedometer in line...I thought why not get the added HP & TQ from it...Cant wait to see the additional increase once I get an aftermarket exhaust & intake...
