Default Hypertech or Superchips

So, Ive searched and there are just too many different things about each. If you have experience with either which one do you suggest. I dont even need a why. Just which one you think is better. I have an Auto 2009 4dr Rubicon. I'm looking for performance and a little better gas mileage because im going to be running 35's or 37's soon. But nothing like a little more pick up! Thanks fellas!

I have always heard good stuff about the Bully Dog product for Diesel Engines, not so much for their gas products. Not that it matters for the JK.

There are definitely some nice features on the Diablo Sport Predator. Something that Superchips has in the works and others that aren't. The real advantage is going to be for things other than the typical bolt ons such as long tubes, head work or throttle body replacement. As I don't know too many people who have gone or wish to go that route, your left with the other features.

• More robust fan control, tied to mph and AC use

• Full time idle adjustment, in P/N, AC on/off and while in gear.

• Rev limiter in drive/gear or neutral/park

From what I have paid a lot of attention to on another Chrysler platform, the Diablo is the choice amongst those who are pushing the engines harder with after market cams, head swaps, throttle bodies and long tube headers. People that weren't going to that extent, preferred the canned tunes of the Superchips Flashpaq. There is also somewhat of a consensus that SC has done a better job with the factory torque management for automatic transmissions.

For me the only thing that would make me jump away from Superchips is the full time idle adjustment. To take advantage of the other features of the Diablo, I just see dollars going out the window on a platform that the gains are going to be a lot of money for relatively few horsepower. I guess if I didn't already have shorty headers, long tubes and the Diablo would be pretty enticing.

Superchips for sure!! No brainer!!! I have had great success over the last month after installing this. I get 2.5 MPG better on average and the power is back while running 35" tires and 3" lift. A+++ product!!!

I've only run the Flashpaq but I will say it is a very nice unit and has exceeded my expectations.I saw ~1.5MPG increase running the mileage XS tune and a pretty good HP boost as measured by my butt with the 87 tune. I haven't been able to get the TPMS delete feature loaded and their customer service to date has been very good. They work on it and call me to try something else and then back to the drawing board, but every time I call they answer the phone and work with me so no complaints there. Now if I could just get it to load that feature...
